A book review on my book Critique and Reconstruction: British Media and Communication Research and Its Marxist Tradition was published on Ming Bao (Feb. 17), by a Hong Kong scholar Ye Yinchong, in remembrance of Stuart Hall, who unfortunately passed away early on.
值英国文化研究泰斗斯图亚特·霍尔于2014年初逝世，香港学者叶荫聪在《明报》上发表了对本书的书评，以本书中对霍尔的学术人生的论述，评议了霍尔和英国文化研究的遗产。

Global Communication: Cross-cultural Explorations in East Asia, the undergraduate course co-directed by Prof. Guo Zhenzhi and me was reported as a feature story by Xinhua.net for its innovative way of teaching(televised virtue classrooms connecting Tsinghua campus and Seoul National University campus) and its focus on Sino-Korean culture comparison.
作为主课老师之一的本科生课程《中韩对话》，获得新华网报道。
“这门由清华大学新闻与传播学院和韩国首尔国立大学亚洲研究中心共同开办的“中韩对话”跨文化交流课程，为两国学生提供了比较分析两国文化差异的全新视角。１４名清华大学学生和１０名首尔国立大学学生通过视频连线用英语进行近两个小时的现场讨论，内容涵盖对个人主义、物质主义、传统文化和性别文化四个领域的比较研究。韩国企业界、媒体界的资深人士也常为座上宾。”
